Apple CEO Tim Cook becomes Chairman of China University Board

Apple Inc. CEO Tim Cook just became the new chairman of the Advisory Board for the School of Economics and Management (SEM) in Tsinghua University within Beijing, China.
According to Tsinghua University’s SEM public WeChat, the 20th meeting of the advisory board was held on the Beijing Campus October 18th. The meeting was chaired by Cook with 35 members attending.
Tim Cook’s new roll will be to promote development of the college and help it become a world-class economic management school. His mandate extends from 2019 until 2022.
